Step into the magic of Dance Showcase 2026: The Classic Fairy Tales and the Hunters, where dancers from 18 months onward bring beloved stories to life on stage — from Pinocchio, Hansel and Gretel, Thumbelina, Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks, Puss in Boots, to Jack and the Beanstalk. With every performance, each child gets to shine, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of storytelling through dance.

  • The performance date and time will be assigned by Twinkle Dance and will be announced in March 2026. No performance date requests will be accepted and the assigned date cannot be changed. 
  • Performers MUST reserve, and ensure availability on the dates of June 19th, 20th, and 21st, 2026, for stage rehearsal and the showcase.
  • For performers who have enrolled in the show with their siblings/parents, we will try to arrange for performers to be in the same show but not guaranteed to be able to arrange it.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Performers must be 18 months or older by January 31, 2026, to be eligible to apply.
  • Performers in the Ballet with Mommy class must be accompanied by one parent or guardian during backstage preparations and will perform on-stage alongside them. 
  • Performers in the Pre-School Ballet Level 1 and Musical Theatre Age 2 class must be accompanied by one parent or guardian during backstage preparations. If the child is unable to perform independently on stage, their parents/guardians must perform on stage with the child.
  • Performers from Ballet with Mommy and Pre-School Ballet Level 2 will be released during the intermission of the showcase. Parents and guardians are encouraged to purchase tickets for the performer so they can enjoy watching the second half of the showcase.
  • Performers must attend not less than 80% of the regular classes in order to ensure the highest standards of the performance. Failure to fulfill the attendance requirement may result in withdrawal from the showcase. Application fees will not be refunded.
  • Performers must follow the school policies of Twinkle Dance including class age, uniform and health and safety requirements etc. Failure to meet the school policies may result in withdrawal from the showcase. CLASS AND REHEARSAL ARRANGEMENT

  • Performers must stay in the same class from February to June of 2026 as students in the same class will perform on-stage together. Students need time to become familiar with their positions and rehearse dance combinations with their classmates. 
  • An administration fee of $500 will be charged for any class change request starting from February 2026 as it will affect the showcase planning and rehearsal practice. There is no guarantee for the class changes, such requests are subject to availability of classes and costume production progress. An additional $980 costume fee might apply for costume production adjustments/changes. Twinkle Dance reserves the right to make the final decisions for any class change request.
  • All performers are required to attend an additional on-stage rehearsal at the Theater that will be scheduled on or before the performance date.

 

MAKE-UP CLASS ARRANGEMENT

  • Some classes are doing different dance pieces. Students are advised to select alternative classes in the same dance pieces for the make-up class, the alternative classes maybe across various locations.

 

COSTUME & APPEARANCE

  • Performers will portray different characters in the showcase. Character/costume is assigned at the sole discretion of Twinkle Dance.
  • Performers are required to visit one of our studios for costume measurement by January 31st  2026. 
  • Costume fitting and collection will be arranged on the studio photoshoot day. Performers who do not wish to participate in the studio photoshoot are required to collect and try on the costume(s) at the Twinkle Dance back office (17A Yally Industrial Building, Heung Yip Rd, Wong Chuk Hang). If performers wish to collect it at our studios, it will be arranged after the photoshoot day. 
  • In case the costume does not fit, a complimentary alteration service will only be provided within the collection period (to be announced).
  • Performers are required to purchase proper ballet or jazz shoes, dance tights and hair sets (hair net and pins) according to the costume outlook. Peach pink leather ballet shoes/black leather jazz shoes (full leather without any patterns), and peach pink/black dance tights (without any patterns) are required when necessary. 
  • Performers are responsible for keeping their costumes safe and clean for the performance. 
  • Performers have to do hairstyling and make-up on their own on the performance day.

 

PROFESSIONAL STUDIO PHOTOSHOOT EXPERIENCE

A complimentary professional photoshoot experience will be offered to all performers. Performers will be directed by our teachers and have solo shots taken by professional photographers in their beautiful dance costumes.

  • The photoshoot will be arranged on weekends or public holidays in April/May 2026, performers can reserve their time slot on a first-come-first-served basis. Reservation details will be announced in March 2026.
  • Teachers will assist with hair styling (ballet bun) and posture direction *makeup is not included.
  • Photos are not included in the application fee, it will be on sale for ordering and delivered in soft-copies on/ after show days.

 

 

 

 

TICKETING

Show tickets are NOT included in the application fee. Tickets will be available at any URBTIX box office in Hong Kong or online. Tickets on sale date will be announced in March 2026.

  • No tickets are required for performers, they will stay at backstage with Twinkle Dance’s teacher and staff until the end of the show.
  • Performers from Ballet with Mommy and Pre-School Ballet Level 2 will be released during the intermission of the showcase. Parents and guardians are encouraged to purchase tickets for the performer so they can enjoy watching the second half of the showcase.
  • All tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • No tickets are available for sale/reservation at Twinkle Dance. 
  • Sold tickets are not refundable or exchangeable.
  • For performers scheduled to perform on a different show from their siblings or parents, TWO free tickets will be granted per family. Details will be announced. 

 

SHOW DAY ARRANGEMENT

  • All performers are required to attend an on-stage rehearsal before the show on the assigned performance date.
  • All performers, (except for Ballet with Mommy, Pre-School Ballet Level One, Musical Theatre Age 2), must stay with Twinkle Dance’s teachers and staff until the end of the show and for the final bow. Pick up during intermission is NOT allowed. No request will be accepted.
  • Parents and guardians are not allowed to enter the theater and backstage area during on-stage rehearsals nor during the show.

 

SPECIAL HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

  • If a performer feels unwell or appears unsuitable to perform, Twinkle Dance reserves the right to withdraw the student from the performance. Application fees and tickets will not be refunded in such circumstances. 
  • Performers have to follow the health and safety guidelines of Twinkle Dance and the Theater. Twinkle Dance and the Theater staff have the right to deny the admission of any performers and audiences who do not meet the health and safety guidelines into the theater. Application fees and tickets will not be refunded in such circumstances.

 

REFUND POLICY (only applicable to specific events)

Application fee paid under the Twinkle Dance Showcase is non-refundable under any circumstances including non-controllable events. However, in the specific events of epidemics and/or pandemics, government regulations or restrictions imposed by the HKSAR Government that lead to the cancellation of the Twinkle Dance Showcase, the performance will be rescheduled within 6 months or a refund of the application fee after deducting the $980 costume fee will be arranged. Twinkle Dance reserves the right to cancel the event(s) in relation to the Twinkle Dance Showcase. Any dispute connected to the refund will be resolved at the absolute discretion of Twinkle Dance Company Limited.

Twinkle Dance Company Limited regrets that the application and costumes fees are non-refundable under any circumstances (including any medical conditions/ certificates) except for the stated specific events under the Refund Policy section.

Photography and Other Media

  • Twinkle Dance Company Limited reserves the right to use the photographs/videos taken in the  studio photoshoot and showcase for marketing and promotional purposes. The taken photographs/videos may be used and not limited to Twinkle Dance’s website, social media platforms and collateral material.
  • The stage performance photos taken by the official photographer at the show will be shared with all performers and parents.

Special Health and Safety Measures

  • If a performer feels unwell or appears unsuitable to perform, Twinkle Dance reserves the right to withdraw the student from the performance. Application fees and tickets will not be refunded in such circumstances. 
  • Performers have to follow the health and safety guidelines by Twinkle Dance and the Theater. Twinkle Dance and the Theater staff have the right to deny the admission of any performers and audiences who do not meet the health and safety guidelines into the theater. Application fee and tickets will not be refunded in such circumstances. 

Early Bird Reward (if any)

  • Twinkle Dance is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from using any distributed items provided by Twinkle Dance’s supporting partners/companies. 
  • The supply of early bird reward items is limited and available only when stocks last.
  • The early bird reward items are given out randomly, styles and colors cannot be chosen.
  • The early bird reward items can be redeemed at Twinkle Dance Studios with the application form submitted and the application fees settled before the early bird deadline.

Liability

  • All participants enrolled in this program do so at their own risk and the company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to students, their family members, and guests as a result of participating in this performance activity. 

Disclaimer

  • Twinkle Dance reserves the right to any interpretation and the final decision in case of disputes.
  • Any dispute connected in any way with the Twinkle Dance Showcase will be resolved by Twinkle Dance at its absolute discretion.
