PERFORMANCE DETAILS

Performance Date:	Saturday April 29th, 2023 OR Sunday April 30th, 2023 OR Monday May 1st, 2023 (Public Holiday)
Performance Time:	1.5-2 hours between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Performance Venue:	Y Theatre, Youth Square (238 Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Hong Kong)

 

*Performance date will be assigned by Twinkle Dance Company and cannot be changed. Please reserve all above-mentioned days and ensure your availability. No performance date requests will be accepted. The exact date of the applicant’s performance will be confirmed and announced in late-January or early-February 2023.

*Students who have enrolled in the show with their siblings/children/friends are not guaranteed to be able to perform in the same show.

*Performers will portray different characters in the showcase. Show character / costume is assigned at the sole discretion of Twinkle Dance

*Administration fee of $500 will be charged for any requests to switch classes or any changes affecting the assigned performance and/or rehearsal date. However, such requests are subject to availability of classes and costume production progress. An additional $980 costume fee might apply. Twinkle Dance reserves the right to make the final decisions.

 

REGISTRATION FEE

Registration Fee for this performance is $3960, which includes:

1. REHEARSAL CLASSES: 12 rehearsal classes, 1 hour per session 
2. ON-STAGE REHEARSAL
3. COSTUME: A specially designed costume by dancewear brand Tutulamb ($1260).
4. PERFORMANCE VIDEO: Distributed in soft-copies.
5. PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE

*Applicants must be our current dance students who hold a valid dance package between January 3rd 2023 and April 30th 2023.

*Ballet shoes, dance tights and hair sets are not included. (Proper beige pink ballet shoes are required with matching ribbons)

 *PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOT SESSION, STUDIO PICTURES and SHOW PHOTOBOOK are not included. 

 

 

CLASS REHEARSALS

*Performers are required to attend no less than 80% of the rehearsal classes in order to perform.

*The dance choreography will be based on Ballet Level 1 technique.

TICKETING

Tickets for the show are NOT included in the Registration Fee. You may purchase the tickets at any URBTIX box offices in Hong Kong or online. Tickets on sale date will be announced between late-January and early-February 2023.

*All tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Twinkle Dance will not be in charge of the sales of tickets.

*All tickets are non-refundable.

*For students scheduled to perform on a different show as their siblings/children, TWO free tickets will be granted per family. Details will be announced.

 

DURING THE SHOW

All performers must stay until the END of the show. Performers are NOT allowed to leave during intermission. Families and friends are not allowed to enter the theatre/backstage area during the show.

 

SPECIAL HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

In view of the COVID-19 situation, Twinkle Dance will continue to review and assess the situation during the entire event period and during the performance. Special precautionary measures will be implemented in accordance with the real time situation. All performers and audiences must follow the health and safety guidelines implemented by Twinkle Dance and/or the Theatre. 

*Twinkle Dance has the right to withdraw any performer who does not meet the health and safety guidelines from performing in the event. Registration Fee and tickets will not be refunded in such circumstances.

*Twinkle Dance and Theatre staff have the right to deny the admission of any performers and audiences who do not meet the health and safety guidelines into the theatre. Registration Fee and tickets will not be refunded in such circumstances.

 

 

REFUND POLICY (applicable to specific events)

Registration Fee paid under the Twinkle Dance Showcase 2023 is non-refundable under any circumstances including non-controllable events. However, in the specific events of epidemics and/or pandemics, government regulations or restrictions imposed by the HKSAR Government that lead to the cancellation of the Twinkle Dance Showcase 2023, the performance will be rescheduled within 6 months or refund of the registration and photobook fees after deducting the $1260 costume fee will be arranged. Twinkle Dance reserves the right to cancel the event(s) in relation to the Twinkle Dance Showcase 2023. Any dispute connected in the refund will be resolved at the absolute discretion of Twinkle Dance Company Limited.

 

 

EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT – $150 OFF SHOW PHOTOBOOK ORDER

Order Show Photobook on or before Thursday November 24th 2022 to enjoy early bird rate $400 (original priced $550).The Show Photobook displays a collection of more than 300 backstage and stage photos of all performers, taken by professional photographers throughout the performance day. 

*Close-up shots of every performer is not guaranteed.

*An administration fee of HK$500 will be charged for any late applications submitted after December 16th 2022. Twinkle Dance reserves the right to make final decisions in accepting late applications.

Twinkle Dance has the right to withdraw the performer from performing if the performer fails to maintain 80% attendance, show registration fee and tickets will not be refunded.   On-Stage Rehearsals and During the Show All performers are required to attend an on-stage rehearsal before the show on show day. The on-stage rehearsal date and time will be assigned by Twinkle Dance and cannot be changed or rescheduled. All performers must stay until the END of the show. Families and friends are not allowed to enter the theatre/backstage area during rehearsals and the show.   Studio Photoshoot Professional Studio Photoshoot date and time will be assigned by Twinkle Dance. The photos are distributed in soft-copies.  The photoshoot fees are non-refundable.   Dancewear Requirement Ballet shoes and dance tights are required for this event. (Proper beige pink ballet shoes are required with matching ribbons). Ballet shoes, dance tights and hair sets are not included in the Registration Fee.    Ticketing Tickets are not included in the Registration Fee. All tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Twinkle Dance will not be in charge of the sales of tickets. Every person needs a ticket to enter the theatre including hand held infants.  All tickets are non-refundable.   Special Health and Safety Measures  Twinkle Dance has the right to withdraw the performer who does not meet the health and safety guidelines from performing in the event. Registration Fee and tickets will not be refunded in these circumstances. Twinkle Dance and/or Theatre staff has the right to deny the admission of any performers and audiences who do not meet the health and safety guidelines into the theatre. Registration Fee and tickets will not be refunded in these circumstances.   Sponsorship Items (if any) Twinkle Dance is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury arising from using any distributed items provided by Twinkle Dance’s supporting partners/companies.   Liability All participants enrolled in this activity do so at their own risk and the company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to students, their family members, and guests as a result of participating in this activity.   Disclaimer Twinkle Dance reserves the right to final interpretation of any disputes arising from this application and reserves the right to change the application contents without prior notification. Any dispute connected in any way with this application will be resolved by Twinkle Dance at its absolute discretion.
