爵士舞考試報名 2023

Twinkle Dance的JazzAddict爵士舞考試，將在每年的五月或六月舉行，學生可以報讀恆常課程以參加考試。參加年度考試可以幫助你定立清晰目標，你的努力亦同時獲得肯定。我們邀請你參與這個令人振奮的培訓之旅，以實現你的爵士舞夢想。

 

EXAMINATION DETAILS

EXAMINATION DATE & TIME: June 2023

*Exact date and time will be announced later by JazzAddict Australasia.
*Examinations date / time are scheduled by JazzAddict Australasia. Please note, it might be scheduled on a school day, and that scheduled date and time CANNOT be changed and there are NO refunds if students cannot attend.
*No rescheduling of the examination date / time can be made if the student is absent on examination day (including sickness with medical certificate).

EXAMINATION CENTRE: Twinkle Dance Company Studios

*Exact studio location will be announced later with the date and time of the examination.

CLASS REQUIREMENT

*Students are required to enroll FULL TERM starting from January 1st, 2023 to June 30th, 2023.

*Students must maintain 80% of the attendance until the examination has been completed. 

*If classes are cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, Twinkle Dance reserves the right to withdraw the student’s application.

 

All students MUST:

  • Attend a Mock Exam prior to the actual examination. In which, students are required to arrive at the examination centre, dress in the appropriate examination attire and present their work as if for the real examination/class award.

All age 5+ students applying for Primary / Junior / Elementary Jazz Exam MUST:

  • Take 2 regular jazz classes per week in order to apply for this examination.

*If an age 5+ student fails to enrol into 2 jazz classes per week, he/ she will be disqualified from taking the examination. Examination fees will not be refunded.

UNIFORMS

Students are required to dress in CLEAN and PROPER examination uniforms.

  • Hair accessories are required for a bun (invisible hair net, hair pins, hair tie).
  • Pink (girls) / Black (boys) Twinkle Dance jazz top and Black Twinkle Dance jazz pants.
  • Black full leather jazz shoes (without any patterns).
  • No socks and NO OVERSIZE uniforms are allowed.

 

EXAMINATION FORMAT

The JazzAddict Exam will be conducted in the form of physical examination by an overseas examiner assigned by the JazzAddict Australasia at Twinkle Dance studios. However, with COVID-19 still prevailing at the moment, there might be a chance that an overseas examiner is unable to travel to Hong Kong for the examination due to government policies or restrictions. In this case, the examinations will be conducted in the form of a filmed examination. There will be no refund if you are unable to attend the filmed examination. Details will be announced in due course.

 

SPECIAL HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

In view of the COVID-19 situation, Twinkle Dance will continue to review and assess the situation. Special precautionary measures will be implemented in accordance with the real time situation.  All examination candidates must follow the health and safety guidelines implemented by Twinkle Dance and/ or the JazzAddict Australasia.  

*Twinkle Dance and/ or the JazzAddict Australasia have the right to withdraw the candidates who do not meet the health and safety guidelines from conducting the examination and class award. Examination Fees will not be refunded in these circumstances. 

 

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Please submit the application form and relevant documents with payment settled on or before Saturday December 31st 2022 for successful entries.

  1. A copy of the examinee’s Hong Kong Identity Card OR Birth Certificate OR Passport
  2. Online application form

 

Payment Methods:

  • Cash/EPS at any of Twinkle Dance Company’s studios ($1,000 bill is not accepted)
  • Cheque payable to Twinkle Dance Company Limited
  • Bank Transfer to HSBC to a/c: 848-561908-838 (email the transaction receipt copy/screenshot to event@twinkledance.com or Whatsapp to 6608 6803 )

*Examinations fees are non-refundable. 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Examination Fees

  • Twinkle Dance Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Twinkle Dance”) regret that the fees paid under the Jazzaddict Examinations 2023 are non-refundable under any circumstances including non-controllable events. 

 

Examination Date

  • Please note that examination dates are scheduled by JazzAddict Australasia. Examination date might be scheduled on a school day; It CANNOT be changed and there are NO refunds.
  • No rescheduling of the examination date can be made if the student is absent on examination day (including sickness with medical certificate).

  • The examination and class award will be conducted in the form of a physical examination examined by an overseas examiner or in the form of a filmed examination. 

 

Class Requirement / Preparation

  • Students are required to enroll FULL TERM starting January 1st, 2023 to June 30th, 2023. Twinkle Dance has the right to withdraw the examinee from examination if students fail to enroll full term, examination fees will not be refunded
  • Students must maintain 80% of the attendance until the examination has been completed.
  • All students MUST attend a Mock Exam prior to the actual examination.
  • All age 5+ students MUST take 2 regular jazz classes per week to apply for this examination.
  • Any age 5+ students who fail to enrol into 2 regular jazz classes per week, he/ she will be disqualified from taking the examination. Examination fees will not be refunded.
  • If classes are cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, Twinkle Dance reserves the right to withdraw the student’s application.

 

Uniforms

  • Students are required to dress in CLEAN and PROPER examination uniforms. Hair accessories are required for a bun (invisible hair net, hair pins, hair tie).
  • Students are required to follow the uniform requirements of the examinations set by Twinkle Dance.

 

Special Health and Safety Measures

  • Twinkle Dance and/ or the JazzAddict Australasia have the right to withdraw the candidates who do not meet the health and safety guidelines from conducting the examinations. Examination Fees will not be refunded in these circumstances.

 

Liability

  • All participants enrolled in this activity do so at their own risk and the company is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to students, their family members, and guests as a result of participating in this activity.

 

Disclaimer

  • Twinkle Dance reserves the right to final interpretation of any disputes arising from this application and reserves the right to change the application contents without prior notification.
  • Any dispute connected in any way with this application will be resolved by Twinkle Dance at its absolute discretion.
