Held every other month, Dancepedia gathers dance enthusiasts for a special workshop dedicated to different topics or techniques in dance.

What can students expect from Dancepedia?

All classes include warm up, short barre work session and a series of training exercise designed for the workshop theme. After the 1.5 hour class, you will gain better understanding, as well as enhance your technical dance skills for the chosen dance genre or technique.

*This workshop is suitable for level 1 or above students. Proper ballet shoes are required.

This "Allegro" workshop aims to help everyone improve their jumps in ballet. From the initial barre exercises that warm up and prepare the body for jumps, to training exercises that breakdown the footwork of petit allegro and grande allegro steps, this workshop aims to help participants build strength and coordination for stronger and cleaner allegro steps.

November - Turns & Pirouettes Workshop

Price: 1 class credit for package holders / $280 Walk-in
Instructor: Abigail Studio: Rose Petal

November workshop aims to provide tips and help everyone achieve nicer turns in dancing. From the initial step of finding balance, to traveling with continuous turns, the training exercise will introduce and help participants gradually grasp the crucial turn elements like body placement, arm-and-head coordination, strength, etc.
*November workshop is not suitable for complete beginners. Ballet shoes are required.
